A Long Candlestick dose not always mean the same thing; it depends on where it appears. If it contradict the direction of the prevailing trend, it signals reversal; if it conforms to the direction of that trend , it is a continuation indicator. Marubozu: "Marubozu" is a Japanese word meaning " little hair." This is a long candlestick with little or no upper or lower shadow. As significant as a long candlestick is, the marubozu is exceptionally revealing; the lack of shadows identifies momentum and control on one side or the other.
